Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) are very important for the getting the users accepting the software. Till WPF and Co. were released user interfaces haven’t a real high priority, except web applications, but this is another story.

Now, there is the Windows Presentation Foundation, there is Silverlight (yes, I know about Flash) and a lot of new ideas and dreams got born.

To accomplish all goals it is important or at least very helpful to get in touch with others having the same ideas or using the same technologies. And so .NET GUI was born, a brand new community for German speaking developers and designers of graphical user interfaces based on the .NET Framework.
